This is an indie project built by one person. I collect minimal data, use no tracking, and will always be transparent about how your information is used.

What data we collect

When you create a profile on Revrse, we collect the information you provide:

  • Your name and professional title
  • A short bio describing your experience
  • Your skills and years of experience
  • Your location (country)
  • Work preferences (remote, on-site, hybrid)
  • Contract preferences (contractor, full-time, both)
  • Optional links to your LinkedIn, GitHub, and personal website
  • Your availability status

That's it. We don't use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics. We don't collect IP addresses, browser information, or any other metadata.

How we use your data

Your profile information is used for one purpose: to display it publicly so companies and recruiters can find you.

  • We make your profile searchable by skills, role, and location
  • We display your profile to anyone who visits the site
  • We generate a unique URL for your profile that you can share

We never sell your data. We never share it with third parties. We never use it for advertising.

Public profiles

All profiles on Revrse are public by design. This means:

  • Anyone can view your profile without logging in
  • Your profile can be indexed by search engines like Google
  • Companies and recruiters can find you through search

If you're not comfortable with your information being public, Revrse might not be the right fit for you.

Data retention

Your profile stays on Revrse until you ask us to remove it. There's no automatic deletion or expiration.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data: Email us and we'll send you everything we have
  • Update your profile: Contact us with changes (self-service updates coming soon)
  • Delete your profile: We'll remove it within 24-48 hours of your request

Security

Your profile data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

That said, no system is 100% secure. By using Revrse, you accept this inherent risk of storing data online.

Changes to this policy

As Revrse grows, this privacy policy may change. If we make significant changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of Revrse after changes means you accept the updated policy.
