Acceptance of terms

By using Revrse, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What Revrse is

Revrse is a remote tech job board. Job seekers create profiles and browse jobs. Companies post jobs directly. Creating a profile and browsing jobs is free. A Pro plan for job seekers is in development.

I'm building this as an indie project to help people find opportunities and companies find talent. It's provided as-is, with no guarantees.

Use of the service

Revrse is provided on an "as-is" basis. This means:

• I make no guarantees about uptime or availability
• I don't guarantee you'll get hired or find candidates
• I don't warrant that the service is error-free or secure
• Features may change or be removed at any time

Use Revrse at your own risk. I'm doing my best to make it useful and reliable.

Your responsibilities

When using Revrse, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in your profile
• Not create fake or misleading profiles
• Not impersonate others
• Be professional and respectful in all interactions
• Not use automated tools to scrape or harvest data
• Not spam, harass, or discriminate against others

Profile guidelines

Profiles should be:

• For real people seeking real opportunities
• Accurate and truthful
• Professional in tone and content
• Free of offensive or inappropriate material

I reserve the right to remove profiles that violate these guidelines without notice.

Prohibited uses

You may not:

• Scrape or crawl the site without permission
• Use Revrse for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the system
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
• Collect user data for spam or unsolicited marketing

Prohibition on scraping and automated access

Revrse expressly prohibits the use of automated tools, bots, spiders, crawlers, scrapers, or any other automated means to access, collect, extract, or copy any content, data, or information from this website without prior written permission. This prohibition applies regardless of purpose, including commercial, competitive, research, or personal use.

Specifically, you may not:

• Use any automated software or manual process to monitor, copy, or extract candidate profiles, job listings, or any other data hosted on this platform
• Use scraping tools (Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent) to harvest data from Revrse
• Aggregate, republish, or resell data obtained from Revrse without explicit written consent
• Bypass technical access controls such as robots.txt directives, rate limits, CAPTCHAs, or IP-based restrictions
• Use Revrse user data (candidate profiles, job posts) to build competing products, databases, or services
• Use automated means to create accounts, submit forms, or simulate human interaction with the service

Candidate profiles are provided solely to facilitate direct contact between job seekers and employers within the platform. Bulk collection or systematic harvesting of profile data for any other purpose constitutes a breach of these terms.

Revrse reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies against parties that engage in unauthorized scraping or data extraction, including injunctive relief and claims under applicable computer fraud, unfair competition, and data protection laws. Violations may result in immediate termination of access and legal action without further notice.

If you have a legitimate research need for bulk data access, contact hello@revrse.xyz to discuss a data access agreement.

Content ownership

You own the content you submit to Revrse. By creating a profile, you grant Revrse a license to display your information publicly on the platform.

You can revoke this license at any time by requesting profile deletion via email.

Profile removal

You can request profile removal at any time by emailing hello@revrse.xyz. I'll remove it within 24-48 hours.

I also reserve the right to remove profiles that violate these terms, contain inappropriate content, or for any other reason at my discretion.

Limitation of liability

Revrse is a directory service. I am not responsible for:

• Hiring decisions made by companies
• The accuracy of profile information
• Interactions between users (professionals and companies)
• Job offers, negotiations, or employment outcomes
• Any damages resulting from use of the service

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I provide Revrse "as-is" with no warranties of any kind.

Third-party links

Profiles may contain links to LinkedIn, GitHub, personal websites, and other external sites. I'm not responsible for the content or practices of these third-party sites.

Changes to the service

I may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Revrse at any time without notice. I'm not liable for any changes or interruptions.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as Revrse evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Continued use of Revrse after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
